My whole life has brought me to this point. I would research everything I ever bought. A new gas grill, a house paint or even a new lawn mower. I wanted the best price for the best grill with the longevity and reliability of whatever it was I was looking at. I would look at the way it looked, reviews, price, value. I could spend a week, maybe two or more until I found the “best” in my opinion. I loved the whole process.

Trading stocks can be very exciting and be very rewarding, but you have to be willing to do research and learn what works for you. You can’t rely on the Stock Prophet only to make you a successful stock picker. You have to learn, read, and get a “feeling” of what you are good at and what you’re not good at.

This App is based on my success as an individual trader. I trade mostly small cap stocks, and I also trade Options here and there. I invest in stocks who’s company are either making money or breaking even. Biotech, communication/Information technology are my favorites categories. This App is merely a starting point for you.

True, but strange happenings for the StockProphet

My son came home from trick or treating one year and had a huge bag of Candy. He dumped it on the floor. I scanned it quickly and said “376”. He began counting the candy. When he got to 370, he looked up at me and smiled and resumed counting. 371, 372, 373, 374, 376 & 376! Crazy, but very true! Some point later, I looked at his jar of coins which included quarters, dimes, nickles and penny’s and blurted out a dollar amount. Crazy, but I was dead on! I forget the amount, but a very true story.

I was with my family for a Florida vacation one year and an Uber driver picked us up. He said to us, “I ask this to every customer and have been for years and nobody ever gets it right. I’ve been to every U.S. State except for one. Which one is it”? I guessed the right State North Dakota of course.

Before Covid, I was pouring money into this .17 cent Biotech stock. I amassed around 100,000 shares worth $17,000 total. I had a hunch, but of course, who could have predicted Covid-19? Covid-19 hit in March and about a month or so later, the market went into a downward tailspin. I looked at my account and it was shooting up dramatically like a Rocket! Both stocks went up over 2000%. I sold a third at different price points. Never be greedy! It turns out it was a perfect storm. I had not one, but two penny stocks mentioned in the news and owned them before Covid-19 was even a word! I sold them all and bought some blue chips to play it a little safe. Did I know something? I don’t know...
